WHY

This is a story I remember called “WHY”; Well it starts off with a kid and his mother and father the typical happy family. The kid was 5 years old and lives day by day always telling his mom and dad he loves them. So as the days went on and the kid had more good memories to look on to he didn’t expect that his smile would one day be put to an end because his father couldn’t handle the responsibility of a family. This feelings of the father disappointment he held behind his smile every time he seen his sons. One day the father took the son out to ice cream and was telling him that make sure when you get big and strong that you’ll take care of mommy but the kid looks at him with a confused face because he thinks dad is always going to be there. After ice cream they go home but in the car ride home the whole time there was silence. The kid thought they were playing the quiet game so he didn’t mind. Well one day the kid woke up out of the bed because he heard screaming and the last thing he heard was I can’t do this anymore. The dad saw the kid and walk up to him and said I’m just going out for tonight and I’ll be back tomorrow. Well the kid sat on the front porch the next day all day but no show of dad. He did the same thing continuously for the past week until on the 7th day his mom walk up and said son I’m sorry but daddy isn’t coming back and the kid just stared in his mom’s eyes with tears flowing out of his own and asked WHY?
